What do you think?

Product reviews, personal anecdotes, wishlists… I’ve realized that all I really use this blog for is my life.

Not saying that it’s a bad thing. But, what if I were to start interjecting different styles of writing here and there? Small fictional stories, poems, monologues, etc? I don’t have a lot of experience with that writing style, but I’d love to just give it a shot.

So, what do you think? Maybe it’ll break up the monotony of another “What’s up with me?” post. Just a thought.

I want to express myself. But, I also don’t want to share too much in the event that someone would take my work and use it as their own. But, I guess that’s always a possibility no matter what you put out there in the ether isn’t it?

Anyway, I might give it a shot. We’ll see. If it doesn’t go over well, at least I tried.

Thanks for letting me run these ideas by you. You are the reader, after all.

Until next time! ❤

I’ve been makin’ videos again.

I have! Well, sort of. I have three YouTube channels that I honestly don’t have time for, but post on very sporadically. It just so happens that I’ve posted on two of them this week. So, I thought I’d share what I posted in case you’re interested.

The first one is a *very*mediocre cover of a song from the Broadway musical, Bonnie and Clyde. In case you don’t know, I have a degree in theatre and I’ve always wanted to perform for a living, but as I grow older, I’ve been realizing that’s a very hard dream to attain, so I’ve only been able to audition here or there for things while I keep one or two jobs. So, YouTube kind of gives me an outlet to perform, and record myself so I can see what I need to improve upon, etc. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it.

The second one is a little montage travel vlog my boyfriend and I made back in January when we flew to Texas to see my family. It’s a bit longer, and is literally just a bunch of clips mashed together with some music. Nothing fancy, but it was fun to make. So, here’s that one. 🙂

I do miss my days of YouTube when I was able to post more frequently. Who knows, maybe I can get started back up again? (As if I don’t already have too much on my plate.)

Anyway, thank you so much for reading, as always!

Until next time! ❤

Current Jam: Meghan Trainor & John Legend’s “Like I’m Gonna Love You”

Despite the few issues I’ve had with Meghan Trainor’s comments speaking negatively about feminism in the past, I seriously cannot get enough of this song right now.

She and John have such a gorgeous vocal blend and the video is such a beautiful tear-jerker. It’s simple and shows the varieties of love one can experience throughout their lifetime.

I’d love to be able to sing this someday. Just adding it to my list of “duets I’d love to do” if ever given the opportunity. Boy, do I miss singing.
